Marlen, Global Social Media Specialist
I joined Roland Berger in June 2025 as Global Social Media Specialist, but my journey started earlier – during an internship with the Newsroom team, part of our Global Marketing Team. Working closely with such a great team convinced me to stay on afterwards. Today, I'm part of the Digital team's Social Media unit within Global Marketing. In my role, I'm responsible for global organic social media and campaign management, driving our LinkedIn strategy in alignment with our brand positioning. My day-to-day work combines strategy and execution: planning content, coordinating with regional colleagues, and staying on top of the newest algorithm trends to continuously optimize our LinkedIn performance. What I enjoy most is the variety of my work – recurring events alongside always-new projects keep things exciting. One of my favorite projects has been scaling our global YouTube channel from 3,000 to 100,000 subscribers in just six months, together with our HR team. Another highlight was covering the IAA Mobility in Munich on-site in autumn 2025, where I interviewed Partners and reported live from the show floor on LinkedIn and Instagram. I also love empowering colleagues to build thought leadership on LinkedIn through our employee advocacy initiatives, and supporting our Corporate Ambassador Program, a global community sharing authentic campaigns and driving brand representation through professional content.
What makes this role special to me is the close collaboration across so many different teams – within Marketing, but also with HR and regional colleagues worldwide. To me, Roland Berger stands out because it lets me combine creativity, strategy, and communication in one role, alongside a truly great team.

Tobias, Campaign Manager
Roland Berger offers abundant opportunities for shaping your career and personal development right from the start, allowing me to grow both professionally and personally at a rapid pace. Since joining in 2014, I have executed various projects in different teams within and across departments, whether it's introducing new tools or launching our marketing dashboard, which ensures cross-channel measurement of our activities' success. The freedom to implement my own ideas and take responsibility for them is an integral part of my daily work in our marketing and communications team. Within our newsroom concept, I serve as a central point of contact for two departments, acting as a campaign manager and a catalyst for ideas. Together with colleagues, we strive daily to find the best approach for our campaigns, generating both public attention for issues and relevant content to support our sales teams in their daily work. Working in this team is highly diverse, as each topic presents its own challenges. Yet it's also incredibly rewarding when we see what we achieve every day. Shaping things, taking responsibility, contributing your own ideas, and collectively achieving successes as a team – that's what defines Roland Berger for me.
