Ida Johansson

Ida is a Principal within Roland Berger’s Water Practice (Regulated & Infrastructure) in Singapore.
She joined the firm in 2024 after prior experience in strategy consulting with a boutique water advisory firm. She possesses know-how of broad range of water topics, from water and wastewater treatment to reuse and desalination across municipal and industrial sectors, having served multinationals, technology companies and investors. She focuses on leading strategy projects for companies seeking to accelerate their growth, especially in emerging markets of Southeast Asia, but also in Europe and Americas.
Ida seeks to create sustainability impact through her work, such as improving access to drinking water and sanitation in Southeast Asia and Africa by working with Development Finance Institutions (DFIs) and investors to realize infrastructure projects. She is also working with industrials to help them to take responsibility for their water usage, encouraging them to not only minimize their water footprint but also to positively impact the environment. This involves tackling shared water challenges and fostering a collaborative approach to sustainability.
Ida holds a Master’s Degree in Economics from Uppsala University, Sweden.
