Dr. Nozomu Yoshimi has supported numerous projects for leading companies in manufacturing, energy & chemicals, power & utility sectors, with a focus on infrastructure development, long-term visioning, mid-term business planning, strategy development, and new business designing. Following his business assignment in Southeast Asia, he has build a strong track record in cross border business development, market entry, investment, and M&A support in emerging markets.
In addition to advising energy companies both in Japan and internationally, he has contributed to policy design through participation in government advisory panels and several track records.
He specializes in identifying long-term market transition - such as sustainability - and driving end-to-end business development from concept design to commercialization. He brings a global perspective to a regional market, enabling clients to navigate complex market dynamics across industries and geographies.
Nozomu holds a Ph.D. in Science from the Graduate School of Life and Environmental Sciences at the University of Tsukuba. Prior to joining Roland Berger, he worked at a Japanese think tank and a global management consulting firm.
