Rizwanur Rahman
Rizwanur Rahman is a Principal at Roland Berger and a key member of the Middle East Digital Leadership Team, where he drives the Data and AI domains. He advises organizations on positioning data and artificial intelligence as strategic enablers of growth, competitiveness, and long-term value creation.
Rizwan joined Roland Berger in 2020 in the Berlin office and later relocated to the Middle East. Prior to joining the firm, he held various international roles as a technology consultant, software engineer, data engineer, and data architect, building deep technical expertise alongside strategic advisory experience across global markets.
With more than 12 years of experience, he specializes in enterprise data and AI strategy, digital and IT transformation, governance frameworks, and enterprise architecture. He has led large-scale initiatives spanning data strategy, AI enablement, and target operating model design, helping organizations transition from isolated experimentation to enterprise-wide AI adoption in alignment with global standards, including DAMA and ISO/IEC 42001.
In addition to his client advisory work, Rizwan leads a Data Engineering team in India that supports complex global programs. He also manages the AI Lab in the Middle East, driving innovation and structured AI adoption across sectors.
Rizwan holds more than 30 professional certifications across data, AI, architecture, and IT governance disciplines. He is an active member of DAMA International and the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP), and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering.
