Tim Kleindiek is a Principal in Roland Berger's Investor Support team in Düsseldorf, where he advises private equity clients and strategic investors on commercial due diligence, technology and product due diligence, AI opportunity and risk assessments, and technology-led value creation.

With more than 13 years of experience as a CTO and technology M&A advisor, Tim has supported over 300 M&A processes across software, IT services, and tech-enabled business models, covering, for example, vertical software, managed services, AI-enabled platforms, health tech, and renewables. Going forward, he plays a leading role in building out our European coverage of technology and software transactions.

Before joining Roland Berger, Tim founded an Internet of Things startup, subsequently held CTO and advisory roles in the software industry, and most recently worked at leading strategy consulting and audit firms.

He holds a master's degree in Information Systems from the University of Cologne.
