For the third time running, Roland Berger's executive magazine, think:act has won the coveted "Best of Corporate Publishing" award.
More than 580 publications entered the annual competition. The consultancy's executive magazine was up against 30 other competitors in total in the category Finance/Real Estate/Consulting, four of which made it to the final round. The award, which was presented at an official ceremony in Munich on June 27, recognizes the magazine as one of Europe's leading B2B publications. Its target group includes clients and relevant decision makers from business and politics.
"Our concept for think:act mirrors our understanding of excellent strategy consulting," said Burkhard Schwenker, CEO of Roland Berger Strategy Consultants. "We measure it against the highest standard in terms of the quality of analysis and design. It presents creative solutions to problems executives face today, with real added value." The mix of informational material and entertaining components proved convincing to the jury.
'think:act' aims to challenge established thinking on international management questions by presenting innovative solutions to key issues decision makers face in this arena, including unlocking new growth markets or the economic success of particular global regions. "We're controversial, innovative and global – we offer the kind forward thinking managers want to read and discuss," says Torsten Oltmanns, Global Marketing Director for the consultancy. "And we do so in speaking their language," he says with a nod to the fact that it is published in five languages, including Russian, Chinese and Polish, next to English and German.
