Alarich Fenyves, Senior Partner and member of the management board, passed away unexpectedly on 11 September. The employees and Partners all grieve the loss of an appreciated colleague and mentor. “His exhaustive knowledge of the Central and Eastern European world of finance and his personal qualities earned the respect and admiration of everyone he worked with. He will be sorely missed,” said Burkhard Schwenker, CEO of Roland Berger Strategy Consultants.
Prior to joining Roland Berger, Alarich Fenyves held top executive positions at Creditanstalt AG and BA-CA, where he was a Member of the Board from 1995. In 2001 he joined Roland Berger as Partner, specializing in financial services. He was able to make a an enormous contribution to building Financial Services to be the largest Roland Berger Competence Center in the region. His excellent reputation, his broad know-how and experience gave the decisive momentum to building an international team and to creating lasting client relationships.
Alarich Fenyves was born in Fürth/Bavaria and studied law in Graz and New York. He lived with his American wife and three grown-up children in Vienna.
