What educational/academic background do you have?
After completing a scientific track in high school, I pursued a hypokhâgne and khâgne (Letters and Social Sciences) followed by a master in Business and finally went back to university to study literature, with a particular focus on the works of Péguy and Chesterton.

Why did you decide to go into consulting?
After a few years in the industry in the UK, three reasons led me to choose consulting: first, the chance to take on varied and challenging projects. Then, collaborating with talented and diverse professionals. Finally – and this reflects my philosophical inclinations – I was particularly attracted to the opportunity to unite Aristotle’s three pillars of knowledge theoria (theory), praxis (practice), and poiesis (creation) within a single profession. Consulting offered me the unique chance to blend intellectual curiosity, hands-on problem-solving, and creative thinking in my daily work.

What did you learn that you will never need here?
Let’s just say that consulting hasn’t exactly put my Latin declensions to good use – though I did find a few colleagues who love dropping Latin quotes! And while I mastered the art of dissecting Proust’s never-ending sentences, I’ve yet to see a client presentation that requires a 50-page digression on memory and time!

Which of your skills from your background makes your consulting life easier?
From my diverse academic and professional background, I am comfortable dealing with and adapting to a wide range of topics, frameworks and systems of thought – whether scientific, economic, literary, or philosophical. This is particularly valuable for solving our clients’ challenges, especially on international and strategy projects.

What did you want to become as a child and what would you love to become today if you weren't a consultant?
As a child, I dreamed of becoming a cyclist! Now if I weren’t in consulting, I would love to create entrepreneurial impact and have skin in the game by consolidating small businesses myself.

What has been your favorite project since you joined Roland Berger as a consultant?
Since I joined Roland Berger, I have had the opportunity to work on a wide range of topics, making it difficult to highlight just one example. However, a few notable experiences naturally come to mind.

First, now being based in Sweden, I have enjoyed contributing to exciting Nordic and EU projects, supporting clients in building pan-European champions – particularly in the MedTech space, a sector that resonates deeply with me as a citizen.

Secondly, I recently had the pleasure of working on a large-scale U.S. strategy project – a fantastic opportunity to tackle innovative topics in an international setting.

Lastly, I also want to mention internal initiatives, such as the GenAI project I’m currently part of, where I can jump from concept to action, taking a hands-on approach to transforming Roland Berger while collaborating directly with global MDs, which I find incredibly inspiring.
