Andreas Ruppen is a Principal at Roland Berger’s Zurich Office and a member of the global Digital and IT Excellence team. Andreas joined Roland Berger in 2018 and, after a stint at the strategy arm of a leading system integrator, returned to continue his consulting career with a focus on digital transformations. He stands for the development of digital and IT strategies, the design and delivery of large-scale business transformations enabled by new technologies and IT systems, as well as the definition of joint business and IT governance and IT target operating models.

He has extensive experience across the Consumer, Manufacturing, Industrials and Financial Services sectors, where he has led numerous major transformation programs and strategic projects. Andreas is particularly driven by the potential of novel technologies, transformative business innovations and artificial intelligence to reshape how organizations operate and compete.

Having lived, studied and worked on four continents, Andreas brings broad international experience and a global perspective to his work. He holds a Master of Arts in Business Innovation (formerly called Information, Media & Technology Management) from the University of St. Gallen (HSG) and a CEMS Master’s in International Management from the University of St. Gallen (HSG) and the National University of Singapore (NUS).
