Ibai has over 20 years of consulting experience. He has developed his career at a multidisciplinary consulting engineering firm where he has dealt with emerging technologies in materials & process industries, capital goods, manufacturing sectors as well as infrastructure capital projects (mainly water and energy).
Following his entrepreneurial spirit Ibai established the strategy consulting practice in Latin American offices (Mexico and Colombia). More recently Ibai launched the new corporate office in Riyadh and HQ for the Middle East.
Ibai is passionate about turning ideas into reality, having a strong track record in structuring bankable feasibility and PPPs, developing marketing strategies as well as in defining diversification, restructuring and growth strategies.
He has worked mainly across Europe, Latin America and the Middle East. Ibai speaks Spanish, English and Basque. Likewise, he has basic knowledge of German that is willing to reinforce in Roland Berger.
Ibai received his master’s degree in Business Administration from Deusto Business School, got his specialization in marketing at the University College Cork and has completed several executive programs at IESE Business School with focus on multicultural project management.
He has been living in Saudi Arabia for the last 3 years, and his wife will now join him in Riyadh.
