Martin is a financial services leader with over 25 years of experience in banking, private equity, fintech, and strategic consulting. He has advised and transformed major financial institutions across Europe and beyond, combining strategic insight with operational execution to drive performance and innovation.

Martin has led the reshaping of banking models in response to structural change, digital disruption, and regulatory transformation. He revitalized go-to-market strategies and refocused financial services practices into profitable businesses in the Middle East and Europe. His work includes digital banking models, embedded finance, payments, and post-merger integration, helping banks evolve toward data-driven, technology-enabled models.

Earlier in his career, he held direct leadership roles in banking, managing large corporate and investment banking businesses, and leading integration efforts after major mergers, including governance, capital allocation, and restructuring internationally.

Martin is recognized as a strategic advisor in banking and capital markets, working with banks and regulators on balance sheet deleveraging, resolution strategies, and capital optimization. His experience covers portfolio wind-down, restructuring, distressed asset acquisitions, and valuation of complex credit portfolios.

Beyond banking, Martin has advised insurance companies and asset managers on capital strategy and investment allocation and led private equity investments in fintech and specialty finance. Martin holds an MBA in Banking and Insurance from the University of Graz, Austria, and studied Business and Finance at the University of Santander, Spain.
