Quick introduction

Hello colleague, interested Roland Berger joiner or general web wanderer,

I'm Daniel Tao, and I've spent the past few years working at Roland Berger between our Boston and Chicago offices. I was born and raised in Canada, and I'm still trying to figure out what it means to balance "being a millennial" with a first-generation immigrant upbringing – Probably some colorful clash of lazy entitlement and strict discipline.

Professionally, I'm interested in social psychology (how individuals and organizations interact, influence and change) and the quantification of everything (grounding findings in some sort of analytics, count, sum, etc.). Personally, I enjoy following and playing basketball, learning from others and giving back to our communities.

I'll be focusing my writing primarily on my experiences at Roland Berger and how they have translated into personal learnings moving forward. There is a 100% chance that other random thoughts and personal experiences will trickle into my writing. If you find any of the above topics interesting or self-characterizations relatable, I invite you to follow along.

Daniel
