Operationalizing corporate flexibility
Jörg Horstmann
2007
Flexibility is a hot topic: To deal with changes in the business environmental, individual employees, complete assembly lines and entire companies should be able to (re)act flexibly. However, flexibility involves costs that can exceed the benefits if only "simple" flexibility maximization is achieved.
Jörg Horstmann takes a global look at corporate flexibility. He examines what level of flexibility is required for particular environments and situations, and how specific challenges can be met. Jörg Horstmann provides valid environment and business analyses, categorizes the necessary flexibility and internal flexibility potential and develops a special flexibility audit (including quantitative KPIs) to identify flexibility gaps and excesses.
