Barbara Stahl (born in 1965), a German citizen, has a degree in economics and applied languages from Johann-Gutenberg University, Mainz. She earned an additional qualification in nonprofit management (foundations) at European Business School in Oestrich-Winkel, Germany.

After 10 years in corporate finance at a German bank, she gained hands-on consulting experience during almost four years at Roland Berger Strategy Consultants. Today, Barbara Stahl coordinates the firm's corporate responsibility activities in Germany and advises the international offices in all questions of pro bono work and corporate volunteering. Furthermore, as an expert in the nonprofit sector, she participates in selected pro bono projects herself.
