Munich/Frankfurt a.M., October 6, 2009

In October 2009, Dr. Frank Heideloff (40) joined Roland Berger Strategy Consultants as a Partner in the firm's Hamburg office. Dr. Heideloff will focus on consulting German Landesbanks and commercial banks.

"His excellent know-how and vast experience makes Frank Heideloff a perfect fit for our team," says Dr. Udo Bröskamp from Roland Berger's Financial Services Competence Center.

Frank Heideloff studied business, philosophy and psychology, graduating from the University of St. Gallen in 1995. He also has a CEMS master's degree and earned a Ph.D. from TU Chemnitz in 1998. Until March 2005, he worked for a leading US consulting firm in Europe and Asia. In 2005/2006, he was on the Board of Management of Alghanim Industries in Kuwait, one of the largest groups in the Middle East.

Since January 2007, Frank Heideloff had been working as Global Head of Corporate Development for HSH Nordbank, reporting directly to the CEO. There Dr. Heideloff was responsible for developing the group strategy, managing the bank's portfolio, raising new capital, laying the groundwork for the bank's IPO and driving the overall restructuring process in the wake of the financial crisis. At Roland Berger, he will focus on advising commercial banks and German Landesbanks on strategy, restructuring, corporate finance, risk management and IT.
