Ryo is a Principal at Roland Berger’s Tokyo office, core member in Transaction and Investor Services (TIS).
Ryo brings 20+ years’ experience leading more than 50 complex M&A transactions through lifecycle, as well as growth strategy and enterprise- and corporate governance-transformation engagements. Beyond advising C-suite clients, he has designed and delivered hands-on programs worldwide in business-model transformation, portfolio restructuring, and operational integration and separation. He has a consistent record of aligning strategic vision with execution across the Energy, Technology, Automotive, Industrials, Chemical, Life Sciences, and Consumer sectors. He excels at leading multidisciplinary teams and driving change in cross-border settings. A trusted advisor, he is known for delivering impact from boardroom discussions through post-deal execution.
Ryo joined Roland Berger after roles at other global management consulting firms, an investment bank, and a transactional risk insurance broker.
Ryo holds a BA in Science and Engineering from the Nihon University in Japan.
