Why Roland Berger?

I was particularly motivated to apply because Roland Berger is the only globally leading consulting firm headquartered in Europe. From my research during the application process, I was already fascinated by the company’s thematic focus areas and innovative approach. During the interview process, I quickly realized that the interpersonal fit felt very strong – and my initial impressions were confirmed: The company works on exciting projects and is made up of talented, inspiring people whom I would be thrilled to collaborate with.

What does “Be the Original You” mean to you?

“Be the Original You” means bringing my authentic self to work – contributing my unique strengths, experiences, and interests. Everyone adds something different, and this diversity makes the team stronger. For example, I enjoy sharing ideas inspired by my personal experiences and interests, helping the team approach challenges from another perspective.

What are you most enthusiastic about in your role?

I am most enthusiastic about the opportunity to collaborate with a wide variety of people from different companies and backgrounds. Every individual brings unique experiences, perspectives, and ways of approaching problems, which makes every project dynamic and engaging. I particularly enjoy learning from my colleagues, exchanging ideas, and finding creative solutions together. For me, this diversity not only keeps the work exciting but also helps me grow personally and professionally while contributing my own strengths to the team.

What has been your favorite project so far and why?

My favorite project so far has been supporting the construction of a direct-reduced steel production plant capable of producing CO₂-neutral steel. It was particularly exciting to contribute to such an important step for the German industry and to witness a construction project of this scale first hand. Being involved in a project that combines industrial innovation with sustainable practices made it both inspiring and highly rewarding.

What advice would you give to someone considering joining Roland Berger?

I would advise anyone considering joining Roland Berger to stay curious, open-minded, and proactive. The work environment is fast paced and diverse, offering the opportunity to learn from highly talented colleagues and take on challenging projects. Being willing to ask questions, embrace new perspectives, and actively contribute your ideas will help you get the most out of the experience and thrive in the team.

What’s the most memorable team event or social activity you’ve attended at Roland Berger?

One of the most memorable events for me was being part of the organizing team for the 2025 Christmas party for Industrials and Operations. It was really special to see our ideas and plans come to life and create a great experience for everyone. In the end, everything came together smoothly, and I was happy knowing that my colleagues could enjoy a nice celebration to close the year on a positive note.
