Portrait of Daniela, Digital Projects

I'd previously spent six and a half years working for a small consulting firm, so I thought that joining another management consultancy to do marketing again was not for me. But after I interviewed for the job at Roland Berger, I quickly realized that there were exciting challenges and fascinating topics in store for me here. And this initial positive impression has proved to be true time and again since I started at the end of 2017. We operate a 360° newsroom concept, which means that people across all areas work on all aspects of the very latest topics. There's no silo mentality at all. For me, with my responsibility for our internal digital projects, it means that I'm always talking to colleagues from all different areas and managing my projects across teams – I might be working on digital strategy rollout, the global launch of a marketing automation tool or designing an automated marketing dashboard. Our daily newsroom conference call keeps me up to date with all the latest topics in spite of my strong project focus. Also, I'm always encouraged to take on responsibility, to try new things and to pursue different solutions. For me, that's what makes working at Roland Berger so special!

Tobias, Campaign Manager
Roland Berger offers abundant opportunities for shaping your career and personal development right from the start, allowing me to grow both professionally and personally at a rapid pace. Since joining in 2014, I have executed various projects in different teams within and across departments, whether it's introducing new tools or launching our marketing dashboard, which ensures cross-channel measurement of our activities' success. The freedom to implement my own ideas and take responsibility for them is an integral part of my daily work in our marketing and communications team. Within our newsroom concept, I serve as a central point of contact for two departments, acting as a campaign manager and a catalyst for ideas. Together with colleagues, we strive daily to find the best approach for our campaigns, generating both public attention for issues and relevant content to support our sales teams in their daily work. Working in this team is highly diverse, as each topic presents its own challenges. Yet it's also incredibly rewarding when we see what we achieve every day. Shaping things, taking responsibility, contributing your own ideas, and collectively achieving successes as a team – that's what defines Roland Berger for me.
