João Cunha joined Roland Berger in 2012 and is a Principal in Consumer Goods & Retail and Financial Services in Lisbon, where he advises leading Portuguese clients and Investors in strategies and approaches to transform their business models, innovate, and drive increasing shareholder value.
João has also been actively involved in cross-platform topics, such as loyalty programs development, digitization, neo-banking, payments, consumer finance and sustainability, fields in which he has developed strong expertise over the years. His main interests lie in business model innovation and industry change. He is adept at working with all levels of an organization, from the executive committees to the shop floor. He strives for "creative strategies that work", combining an innovative and strategic mindset, with pragmatism and orientation to execution.
João holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and a Master's degree in Economics, with a Major in Finance from Católica-Lisbon University
