Why Roland Berger?

Roland Berger combines a unique collaborative atmosphere with a truly global presence and deep industry and functional expertise.

From my very first day, I have felt part of a close-knit community – “the Roland Berger family” – that genuinely invests in its people both personally and professionally.

In line with the international profile, my project assignments on several continents enable me to work with passionate and experienced colleagues across the global Roland Berger network.

Lastly, Roland Berger has a unique entrepreneurial spirit that empowers everyone to take ownership, shape their own path, and drive impact, from Junior Consultant on.

What does “Be the Original You” mean to you?

“Be the Original You” captures what I believe is at the heart of Roland Berger’s culture: the conviction that our greatest strength lies in the authenticity, passion, and individuality of every single person in the firm. It also means working in an environment built on trust, empathy, and respect. Through this I feel empowered to grow further and learn every day.

What are you most enthusiastic about in your role?

I really enjoy working with great clients in consumer goods, agri-food, and retail, which are industries where the products and topics are incredibly tangible and of relevance to our everyday lives. As a Project Manager, I have the freedom to set my own leadership style, guide and develop teams, and build strong client relationships. And what makes it truly special: I continue to learn and grow every single day.

What has been your favorite project so far and why?

My favorite project was developing a new convenience supermarket concept for an international retail group – from prioritizing markets to creating a concrete concept and business plan. Together with an international team, we translated customer needs into store formats, assortments, pricing, store planograms, and an operating model. Seeing the actual stores come to life – and the real impact of our work – was a very rewarding experience.

What advice would you give to someone considering joining Roland Berger?

My advice: be curious, be proactive, and be yourself. Roland Berger offers incredible variety across industries and geographies – embrace it. The culture is entrepreneurial, so take ownership and shape your own path from day one. And most importantly, be authentic – your unique perspective is your greatest asset.

What’s the most memorable team event or social activity you’ve attended at Roland Berger?

The most memorable events for me are the "Challenge Club" events. They regularly bring together an inspiring group of colleagues from all Roland Berger offices in emblematic locations around the world. It is a unique mix of personal coaching, leadership training, and strategic discussions with management, as well as fun social activities, like a paella cooking class in Madrid. The events are an incredible opportunity to build a strong international network across all industries and functions, as well as great friendships.
