Alia is a Partner at Roland Berger and heads our Sports practice in the Middle East. Throughout her 18 years of experience, Alia has been at the forefront of various initiatives aimed at advancing the Middle East region's sports sector, including the development of multiple national and regional sport strategies for GCC countries. Known for her expert analysis on sports policy and development, Alia’s portfolio encompasses comprehensive advisory roles for eminent public sector institutions and sporting bodies.
Alia's expertise extends to multifaceted commercial and merger & acquisition advisory services, where she has excelled in investment appraisals, crafting business plans, and executing meticulous due diligence. Her advisory proficiency is highlighted through her work with a range of sport sector clients, contributing to the development of strategic plans, the orchestration of sports events and competitions, and the enhancement of institutional frameworks.
Alia graduated from London Business School, UK with a Master’s in Business Administration and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from the American University in Cairo.
