Marc has more than 20 years of international, both industry and consulting expertise within the transportation industry, always with a special dedication to highly strategic and operational topics. He has developed a deep passion for Corporate & Business Strategy, New Business Models, Digital Transformation & Disruption as well as Process, Operational and Organizational Excellence. He also has a strong M&A track record. Being a true transportation enthusiast with a special focus on Logistics, Postal, Express and Parcel Services, eCommerce and Aviation, he has successfully managed a wide variety of large projects for numerous clients, including state-owned groups, private groups as well as multinationals.
Before joining Roland Berger, Marc held several senior executive positions in both industry and consulting. His last role was Head of Logistics & Travel at a Management Consulting Company, after more than 10 years industry experience within the world's leading mail and logistics company, including Chief of Staff, for the Post, eCommerce and the Parcel Corporate Division. Prior to that, Marc worked in Strategy/M&A with one of the world´s leading airfreight carriers, after starting his career in the Corporate Finance-/M&A Advisory.
Marc has graduated in Business Administration at the Frankfurt University and holds a doctoral degree in Finance & Accounting from the University of Mainz.
