Dr. Tom Gellrich is a Partner in Restructuring, Performance, Transformation & Transaction at Roland Berger. He has more than 19 years of work experience, thereof 11 years extensive consulting experience. Tom's career has taken him across Europe, the US and Asia, where he has supported national and global clients on large cost-out and restructuring programs as well as M&A, Post-Merger Integrations and divestitures.
Tom is an expert in complex HR-restructuring projects as well as corporate carve-outs. His industry focus lies in telecommunications, travel, transportation, aviation and financial services.
He started his career at one of the leading auditing and advisory firms and has been a Director and COO at one of Germany's largest banks. He was also Partner at another management consulting firm for several years, building up the Restructuring practice there.
Tom is a Business & Economics graduate from Mannheim University and holds a Ph.D. from Frankfurt University. Furthermore, he heads the supervisory board at a leading German technology company in the field of technical building equipmentand and has been a part-time professor at the International School of Management (ISM), Frankfurt. He is also the author of numerous articles and studies.
