Richard Federowski
Dr. Richard Federowski is a partner in Roland Berger’s Consumer Goods & Retail team. He focusses on retail, especially in the non-food industries - from brand building to production, including sectors such as fashion, shoes, cosmetics, lifestyle, DIY and much more.
Richard has developed deep expertise in strategy development, customer-centricity, omni-channel commerce, merchandise planning and allocation, supplier management, restructuring & turnaround, corporate finance and performance/process improvement.
Richard's career started in the banking industry, before he moved to Roland Berger, where he spent eight years in the restructuring and corporate finance team conducting multiple projects in retail and other industries. He continued his professional life at a DIY-retailer as Head of Inhouse Consulting/M&A and afterwards at a multi-brand fashion retailer in the position of Head of Executive Affairs & Strategic Projects, and as Head of Corporate Strategy. He holds a Master and PHD in economics from the Handelshochschule Leipzig.
