Manfred Hader heads Roland Berger’s Global Aerospace & Defense Practice and operates out of the firm’s Hamburg office. He focuses on consulting large international companies and institutions in the fields of aerospace & defense, engineered products and utilities on issues of strategy development, strategic transformation and operational performance improvement. Manfred believes that the key to finding sustainable solutions is to leverage the diversity of the individuals at the company, both internally and externally. He has a passion for bringing different people together and is known for applying a personal approach to the work he carries out for his clients.

After beginning his career with an eight-year stretch in industrial marketing and sales at various high-tech companies, Manfred has followed his passion for bridging differences around the globe. Prior to joining Roland Berger in 1998, he lived and worked in Germany, France, Japan, the US, the UK and Italy. Now firmly settled in his role at the company, he leads large cross-border strategy, transformation, performance improvement and post-merger integration projects. Manfred studied Business Administration, Finance and Marketing at the European Business School in Oestrich-Winkel, Germany and the Thunderbird Graduate School of International Management in Phoenix, USA. He has a Franco-German Baccalaureate from the Lycee International in St. Germain-en-Laye, France.
