Seiichi is a Senior Partner at Roland Berger's Tokyo Office. He integrates his three core backgrounds as an advisor, an investor and a managing officer into his quest of elevating the true value of client's companies.

He explored various fields to expand his experience and knowledge. For example, when he worked for a foreign consulting firm, he developed numerous strategies for major corporations in the industries of manufacturing, distribution, retailing, transportation and travel services. He also created and launched projects in new business domains, areas which extended beyond industry borders.

He then left to work for a Japanese incorporated company as the Managing Director and oversaw a broad scope of investment and financing projects. In addition, he acted as a director for three portfolio companies, where his hands-on experience in turning around the businesses paved the way for each company to have a successful V-shaped recovery.

Next, as a Representative Director of the Board and Executive Vice President of a Japanese multinational electronics company, he led people in drafting and executing the mid-term plan. He also led the company as it undertook several strategic acquisitions to transform its business structure.

He later became the First Senior Vice President of a world's leading manufacturer of small precision motors, and after his involvement in PMI and growth acceleration through overseas acquisitions, he returned to the consulting industry and joined Roland Berger.

Seiichi holds a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Tokyo, Japan. He went on to complete the Advanced Business Management Program at the Kellogg School of Management of Northwestern University, USA.
